.cvs file in libre office didnt work out. Wouldn't read the file. Downloaded the ARC30 to try.

Just tried the ARC 30 software. Not impressed. Tried to add another group of frequencies. Did press F2 as stated to do. Wouldn't save. Gave up!
Did you discuss this with Gommert? His support is quite good.
I did not. may take a look at it again later but for now I will input manually.
What exactly are you trying to do? F2 is for editting data. There are many happy ARC30 users our there.

Here is what I tried. Removed the sd card and plugged it in usb port with proper adapter. Fired up ARC30. It read it fine. Saw all my current information. Went to next empty line to try add a county P25 system. I was doing a copy/paste on the 1st frequency I wanted to input. It took it. Moved to the next field to fill which was name. The frequency I just put in disappears. Being new on this software, am probably missing something. I'll play around with it to see if I can figure it out.
Figured out some of this software. Same as before putting micro SD card in computer. Since I am not a paid user, would not upload to the current data. Wanted to test it out with one group before committing to do allot of additions. Let me save it though as a dat file. Since I am not a premium member on RR, couldn't import. Will have to test a little more before deciding.
If you enter or paste a frequency use Enter to confirm the new data. Hitting F2 when data was pasted may lose the new info.
Also you don't need to remove the SD card to program the R30 using ARC30. See the addendum

I know I don't need to remove the card. Just decided thats the way I want to do it. Won't let me upload new data to test it out though. States I need to be a paid subscription. Hard to test it out when its partially crippled. I does let me save what I added but its a .dat file.
I see if I have a subscription to RR that I can import. Can the import be selective to one county P25 system at a time? Just want to make sure I don't max out my memory. Thanks. Will probably purchase this next month.
