So I have a Motorola xts 3000 model III I programmed certin channels to transmit and some to receive my question is what would cause the led light keep on flashing when there is no transmission earlier today I has radio on a county fire freq in my area heard open mic from dispatcher on channel I was on after they where transmitting the light stayed on. The only way I can get the led light stop flashing is unscrew antenna can someone take a look at the code plug for a specific freq I am talking about? Also what is the marine channel for coast guard when calling out to them what should the radio be set to for their freq to be able reach out to them in event of emergency ?
