Perhaps un-ID'ed on Atlantic County TRS? Surrounding communities have beach patrol ops here. Next place I'd check is their former police frequency, 155.625

Looking at my old old listings and records.. they had an unidentified Municipal Channel listed.. 155.925. Simplex. You never know.

Had a chance to finally make it down to Somers Point, and the Lifeguards use Somers Point Police Ch. 2 on the Atlantic County P25 system.

Be sure to submit a database update with this info. Are lifeguard ops clear? Do police still use the talkgroup, assuming with full encryption? If yes to both, mode should be changed to "Te" to indicate partial encryption

There’s only one lifeguard stand at the beach, and I got a quick look at the display. The display said Somers Pt on the first line, and the second line said 4 PD 2 on it. I did not get to see if there was a skeleton key on the display or not. I’m thinking that the radio is just used only for an absolute medical emergency. The actual beach that is there is only about 300 feet and it’s on the bay, next to a fishing pier. So this beach is not like other beaches where you have multiple lifeguard stands and such. That’s why I’m a little hesitant to submit it to the database, because the actual usage is probably just for emergency use only.
