I know a while ago one of the antenna sites went down for the UHF dispatch and it was coming in very weak in the middle east part of the county and then it was fixed, anyone know if that site/antenna went down again? In the last 2 weeks or so it has started coming in very weak again.

Unsure on that but on a side note, anyone hearing anything about a Fire/EMS TG dispatch so one doesn't need to monitor the conventional dispatch frequency and also the TKD system? Many other counties do provide this, even if it were a convenience rather than tripping pagers.

I havent heard anything about Somerset doing this, but will def ask around. My dept dual dispatches on our old VHF channel and our County TRS dispatch TG and all of our main responders have unication G5 pagers, its absolutely helpful to be dispatched on the TRS and then have the pager go into a scan mode of our ops talkgroups once a call is received, noone misses vital information whether it be burnt food or confirmed fire, also since everyone is carrying a pager that can monitor the call in real time during the day members who may be at work who cant leave for every call can monitor the situation and respond if the call turns out to be something.
