Sonar FR-105

I have an old Sonar FR-105 receiver that works. However, does anyone know why the audio would make it sound like it's talking through its nose (the only why I can describe it). Even the squelch sounds like there's no base to it anymore.

Busted cone on the speaker.

This unit is probably 40+ years old!
If a blown speaker is your only problem, you're doing good.
