Sort Changes

Can some one explain this to me.

I thought there was a new frequency for Walton County , Florida today. I clicked on the county because it was highligted. No frequency change at all. Just some wired database changes. Several Changes Change nothing.

Sub-category (Walton County Fire/EMS Sort 99) changed to (Walton County Fire/EMS Sort: 99) KD4YGG 2010-11-24 10:31:21

Why make a change to change it back to what it was ???

The quick version: Not all changes are visible. Changing something like a sort order, or housekeeping behind the scenes, will generate a change flag (green colored entry), but it may not be visible to the end user. The log will show those changes just like you posted...it looks like nothing happened.

Usually those changes are to put a lat/long in or to do something similar.
