Went for another jaunt today, down US23 to the Portsmouth/Scioto County area. Considerably more success than the last trip down US33:

Site 57.57 CC - 854.3875 WQEY359 Minford
Site 58.58 CC - 855.1625 WPCQ255 Mount Joy
Site 59.59 CC - 855.0625 WQEY359 Portsmouth
Site 92.92 CC - 854.5125 (Failed, Stale) WRDH655 Jackson?
Site 101.101 CC - 856.6375 WRDH655 Piketon

The only one I'm not sure of is 92.92, which is probably Jackson; it was showing up as neighbor to all the others and I'm pretty sure I heard it on the scanner, but I was unable to receive it clearly enough to verify it directly.

There was zero voice traffic while I was monitoring at each of my brief stops (wanted to get home before the monsoon began) so didn't log any voice channels.

I'm too relaxed right now to go digging through the Pro96Com logs and my notes to get the neighbor sites and NACs.

WX permitting I might take a run down US62 to the Adams/Brown County area and back east on US32 next Saturday to see what I can grab.

All of that is already in the DB. Josh (N8JSW) got all of that, and more, earlier.

It wasn't as of last night when I made my plans, so there. . .

I went down US62 to Hillsboro and then across US32 today to verify some stuff.

Mike wasn't sure but Site 65 is definitely Winchester; reception was very poor in Hillsboro but 100% at Winchester. For some reason I was unable to pick up the site listed as Hillsboro even though the control channels were in the radio.

Mike thought Site 101 would actually be Latham, but I don't think so; the signal in and around Latham was barely readable, but was 100% solid copy at Piketon, so I’m going to stick with Piketon for site 101. There is a tower with microwave very close to the water tower site shown on the AEP license, but I couldn’t tell if there were any 800 MHz sticks on it.

Neighbor sites were as noted on my last visit to the area.

Not sure what next weekend will bring but I'll probably head back to the area again; several old railroad stations and other artifacts crying out to have pictures taken of them
