SpaceX CUCU Beacon

Tracked the ISS tonite, listening for the SpaceX CUCU UHF beacon on 400.500 MHz AM. I did not hear the beep, but did hear an unmistakeable "chuffing" kind of modulation on the signal. It was definitely originating from the ISS/SpaceX as proven by my handheld beam antenna. Any idea what this is?

I didn't hear the noise your describing but I did hear voice traffic with call sign of NA1SS last night, at the time I heard her she was in NJ and I live in Central Louisiana

The CUCU UHF telemetry signal is on 24x7 and has been active on every pass i have check. It is low power and into an omni so you will need at least a yagi to hear/see it. I am using just a log periodic but on a tracker. Here is my report:
