I'd like to get some clarification on these talkgroups for Seattle Police


Essentially, this was copied from the SmartZone system, but I feel we should re-label it.

Also, sounds like West Precinct uses a P-TAC (or V-TAC). Anyone know which TGID that could be ?

Probably should leave tactical channels alone. That's what causes full time encryption

Well then, submit an update with your proposed changes and reasoning behind them. Keep in mind there are naming standards that DB admins must adhere to which are outlined in the db admin handbook to keep things concise and uniform

I would but I'm not sure how to update these talk groups because they don't come up and I feel like Seattle Police needs a reorganization. Just last summer I discovered what their Tac 9 was.

You can use your software app of choice to rename talkgroups to whatever works best for you & your scanner(s) you know
