Springfield area get-together

I've noticed there are some new members around the SGF area. Some time back, KCOUHS proposed that we all get together sometime to meet, show off our scanners, ask each other questions, and just generally get to know each other a little better. No-one could seem to settle on a date and time, so the idea was dropped.

Woud there be any renewed interest?

I would definitely be interested, Springfield is about 30-45mins from here.

I think it would be fun. I've only got one scanner...but some cool freqs ...and some recorded pursuits/MilAir comms to share.

We should give it a week or so to make sure that those who check in here less frequently notice what we are planning, but decide soon the where and when.

There are several restaurants just off I-44 and Glenstone (Shoney's has seafood on Friday- with frog legs !!! ) but anything is fine with me.

Let's have some suggestions !

Steaks, BBQ, beer the whole works.. great places to meet! Lots of Radio shops and expert scanner masters here.
