just bought a Uniden bcd996p2 brand new, set it up to scan our local county frequencies (stark county, Ohio they are from the Marc's channels, i used the freescan software. Selected the local channels locked out others and when I down load to scanner all I get is Marc's control or other channels. I can’t figure this thing out

Make sure you assign quick keys to the departments in addition to the Marcs site(s). You should be using the Stark Simulcast sites and perhaps the Summit Simulcast sites.
Also, be aware that the BCD996P2 may not perform very well due to the simulcast sites as it’s not designed to deal with simulcast issues.
