NJ State police use Motorola trunked radios. Camden City police use M/A-COM EDACS radios.

Most state police units have the Motorola Mts-2000 also some Motorola Astro xts-5000 portables are being phased in. Old mobiles are spectra E model series the new ones are Motorola Astro XTL-5000. Camden I believe has a mix of Ericsson Mrk portables and lpe-200.

EDACS MDX (Most are AEGIS capable)
EDACS FMD (Analog only)
EDACS Orion (Pro-Voice capable)
EDACS Jaguar 725M (Pro-Voice / P25 capable)
EDACS Monogram mobile (Analog only)

Portables:

NJSP Radios

When the NJSP first went to trunking in the late 80's they used Motorola Syntor X9000's in the cars and Sabre handhelds......
