MY local PD uses status codes everynow and agian, like Status R and Status N are the only two i've heard and remember so far, not sure if this is used widely or not, but i think Status R is somewhat like being 10-8 from a call, but not sure and wondering if there is a list of these. thanks...

Here in York County, the Sheriff's Department uses a bunch of status codes. Code R or "Romeo" is report taken. Code N or "November" is no crime I believe. I don't have a full list as of yet.
