Hey bud....I received a message from the group the other day...it had to do with the following (quoted directly from email):

Rich McVicar and I have spent several days attempting to resolve the problem
with posting new license grants to the KyScan list. The problem has to do
with how Rich must post new license grants and the spam filter here at UK.
Sadly, there does not appear to be an acceptable solution that keeps the
posts coming to the KyScan list. At this point, the best solution is for
those interested in continuing to receive the new license grants to sign up
for the Yahoo group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fcc-grant-ky. Sorry we
were not able to come up with a better solution.

All things considered it might be time that the KyScan list is moved to Yahoo or Google Groups...but to answer your question yes it is still up and running...

There is a Yahoo group called kyscanner, I've been a member of it for some time.
However, there has been very little traffic on it in the past few years.

Thanx guys...
The KYSCAN list was so handy because so many people were on line and waiting for something to happen or ready to reply.... almost like a chat room and a lot more accurate! U.K.'s server might be reading my email addy as a spam address (go figure?), but I have received very little from KYSCAN in a while, and miss the website as well.... wish I had one of the old KYSCAN freq lists....

Say......does anyone know whatever happened to Harold Peach and his KY Scanning website? Its been gone for a long time and I used to rely on it quite a bit.
Just wondering!
