Sticky thread for major events

On the Sticky thread for major events is that for pretty much anywherea in the us or is there one for every state. I cant find it in the Arizona fourm or anywhere else, other than the latest fourm posts.

If a topic warrants a sticky , a moderator will create it as they have
Admin. options when they post.
Send a moderator a PM with your suggestion for your forum and see if it will fly.

I'm just curious, where do you see a sticky for major events?

On the right hand coloum of the home page whaere it says "latest fourm posts."It often has the Sticky thread for major events fourm where people have just posted. However I can never find it anywhere else on the site.

Thats looks to be unique to the maryland forum. If you look across the top of the site just above the topmost post there is a directrory of where you are.
Its usefull when you go to a forum from the front page and arent sure what forum your in.

The moderator for the Arizona forum is DanRollman. Send him a PM and ask him to create a sticky in that forum for you. If he sees the need for one, he'll create it for you

There is NO sticky for major events. Someone in the Maryland group started a thread with such a name, but it is not a sticky thread.

Well, actually I am glad there isn't. Lindsay has expressed in the past that this is not a site for posting action as it happens. There are plenty of those sites already on the Internet. So...a sticky for major events is probably not 'gonna happen.
