Good evening,

RCH081 and RCH082 were passing through Boston airspace this afternoon with three Norwegian F-35s.
The tankers were up with Boston center on 128.200, but I never heard the fighters. Did anyone pick them up ?

Yes, they were routing via Albany to Bangor. The ROMAs are supporting the return of the Mountain Home
F-15s to CONUS over the next few days, should be good listening .... take care.

Thanks..Maybe will get lucky and MT Home guys will route thru SJ but probably will stay
way North of us this time of year.. They usually do Bangor then loop Northwest for home but fingers crossed.
Dont get many F-15 Altravs ever since Langley traded them in for F-22's.

Yes it appears they flew direct from TX. Think it was just over 9 hour flight. That’s a long one!

I use to have a Tram 1410 and then I swapped it out for an Antenna Specialists MON-58 ground plane since I always used AS antennas over the years. At the same height on the mast. The Tram performed better. I'm thinking of switching it back. I also had the Scantenna years ago which did very well but the elements would break after a while.

Anyone on here using a DPD OmniX milair antenna? Been thinking of getting one for awhile but can never find anyone with real world comparison. I have a Radio Shack ST4 now at about 30ft. Figure if I get a 5ft roof tripod and 10ft mast I could bring it up to about 45ft. I have the good Davis bury flex coax on the ST4.
