Around here they also use 228.1 when doing tac air support mission. Might be something to try next time.
I have that freq. Use it in the Duke MOA sometimes. Thanks for the info.

Thank you I wasn't sure if that is what he was referencing.See post 3221 above

Tails from Fighter Control website.. callsigns inbound TORE 51-56
Seems to have surprised the locals.. Not expected till September
Correct I meant spotters.. Sure took a Polar route.. prob another reason many folks didn't seeTentatively expected next week but the lack of support flights lead people to think that the deployment for Ample Strike wouldn't take place (due to SARS-CoV-2 spread mitiogation) and that the Buffs would operate direct. Locals were kept appraised but I suspect your use of the term means "spotters in Britain"?
My son, who works near KAVP said there were also 2 Ospreys that came for the visit. He saw them leaving KAVP yesterday. I didn't see or hear them on the scanners, nor ADSB. Can anyone confirm?Waiting for Potus to leave WB, A10's up on 233.45 Kiowa range; 266.6 a/a. Just heard the callsign (Colts).
