@mdmonitor, If I haven't said it before, I really appreciate all the work you put into the frequency and callsign lists, THANK YOU! And, if I did say it before, it should be said again and again!

Thank you for the kind words.

When I started this hobby 26 years ago I got help from alot of veteran listeners at the time and so I'm only "passing it on".

I'm always glad to share discussions & information with serious like-minded folks.

Speaking of new callsigns earlier today HAPPY 1and 2 self id as A-10's from Martin State to A/C area R-5002
then back to Martin State via Dover apch as well 282.325 and A/C apch 327.125.

Maybe the pilots were democrats, not just a coincedence I would figure .....

Short head's up for tomorrow, Sunday November 8.

Twelve A-10s should be departing from Lajes to KPSM (Pease ANGB or Portsmouth International at Pease as it
is called these days apparently ..... ) at 1000Z/1030Z as TREND 41 and TREND 51 flight. They will stay overnight
at Pease and then depart on Monday at 1500Z/1530Z to Boise ANGB. They are under Coronet East 008.

René.

René.

Thanks René for heads up.. Yeah that thought crossed my mind also ... Maybe some Baltimore area Domocrats Lol
There is a lot of room these days for local training callsigns like Ron posted
the other day for all the various new F-35's at Vermont ANG.
But on the real missions they seem to stick with their legacy squadron callsigns.

Looks like that P-8A did sightseeing trip over Niagara Falls area at 3,700 feet before stopping at KDOV.
Imagine a nice view from up there:)

Guess the VC-25s & some of the C-32s will be getting a rest. No place to go for a lame duck POTUS.
Odd route inbound Andrews for RCH842T from McGuire.. Spun him up North at FL2k.
Probably got some attention from ground folks in College Park area :)
I'm sure Ron will be some Potus Florida Holiday trips coming up this year.

Guess we can look forward to CAPs in the Wilmington/Philly area in the future.
Yeah I guess so and wish him well but if I was betting man 4 years with his health is
a long stretch.. That job ages everyone rapidly. At least the Don gets his old B757 jet back
next year with new Secret Service quarters :)

As well as CAPs near his beach house in southern Delaware.

He was famous for taking the train from DC to Wilmington. If he does that again, wonder if we'll see helo escorts? Would imagine that we will see more HMX-1 activity between DC & DE.

I've posted some of these before but they bear repeating.

HMX-1 Freqs

142.75 (AM)
143.825
148.325
265.8
277.175
273.95
318.9
320.4
375.0

Interesting concept but that will depend on how the USSS views the process. They usually go with the more secure process and Biden seems more agreeable to letting the experts determine the flow. Maybe there will be a mix of both train and plane trips.

All day yesterday there were several helos working the Wilmington area at low level.

I'm guessing they were DE ArNG UH-60s. Surveillance for crowd or just curious?

Terry, you and Mark are well located to hear these guys. Should be interesting 4 years (if Joe lasts that long).

1100- CAP Flight 1808 (Airvan GA8 N608CP MD Civil Air Patrol) off College Park Airport & working Potomac (118.95).

The Mahindra Airvan 8 (formerly the GippsAero GA8 Airvan 8) is a single-engined utility aircraft manufactured by GippsAero (formerly named Gippsland Aeronautics) of Victoria, Australia. It can seat up to eight people, including the pilot.

The GA8 has been designed for use in remote areas and from austere air strips, performing tasks such as passenger services, freight, sightseeing, parachuting, observation, and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) and search and rescue operations. Its design emphasises ruggedness and ease of use.

I thought all the CAP aircraft were Cessna 172s.
