1530- Team 12 (KC-10 # 79-1712 AE01DD) working Giantkiller (118.125) requesting flt route from W386 to Sea Isle, then Coyle into McGuire.

1538- Gecko 22 (C-27J USASOC Ft. Bragg NC) off Phillips AAF & working Potomac (125.525 & 119.7) cleared to Patuxent VOR. Had earlier heard unid acft working Phillips (126.15) chatting about HALO runs. Was probably Gecko 22. Gecko 22 not showing on ADS-B. Probably headed back to Ft Bragg.

Sounds like replacement gear for new J-STARS type someday?
Mark,

Funny you should say that. When JSTARs was up this way this morning I half expected them to head for BWI to visit Northrop.

I was a little disappointed that the didn't go into BWI because I could have watched them come in from my back deck which sits right under rnwy 33L& 33R.

Ron or anyone near Andrews do you ever get coms on old Andrews CP 141.550?
I never hear that freq used anymore except at times in FM mode get strong P-25 type ENC Coms not air related.
Checking latest ADWS Notam posted below they only mention 378.100 as CP freq.
Airnav lists 143.800/351.200 as AFRC Ops (Reserve units) but still has old 141.550 as CP along with 349.400. prob outdated.
No mention of a VHF CP below.. Guess use your cellphone if only VHF equipped?

ALL FLIGHTS ARRIVING KADW WILL
CONTACT ANDREWS COMMAND POST ON UHF: 378.1 OR PHONE: 301-981-5058
NLT 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. REPORT WHETHER OR NOT ANY CREW OR
PASSENGERS ARE EXHIBITING SYMPTOMS OF RESPIRATORY ILLNESS AND/OR
FEVER. ARRIVING NON-AMC FLIGHTS ORIGINATING FROM A COUNTRY WITH A
TRAVEL HEALTH NOTICE OF LEVEL 3 WILL BE MET BY MEDICAL SCREENING
PERSONNEL AND ALL CREW/PASSENGERS WILL COMPLETE A PROVIDED MEDICAL
SCREENING QUESTIONNAIRE PRIOR TO DEPARTING THE AIRCRAFT. 25 SEP 13:03 2020
UNTIL 25 NOV 23:59 2020. CREATED: 25 SEP 13:03 2020

Odd AR20-NE Eastbound Res tomorrow afternoon.
AR20NE 1700z-1900z FL 150 to FL270. (Noon local to 2pm local)
Rare you see that low altitude mixed with much higher.. Big Altitude Block Res I guess.
Almost looks like A-10 type aircraft Res.. Maybe for the GOLD Tankers waiting up that way.

Mark,

Haven't heard 141.55 in a couple of years. CP on using 378.1.

I've never heard the 756th use 143.8 either--just 351.2

The ADW dispatch used to be 372.2 and meteo 344.6 but haven't heard either of those for years.

To add to those I haven't heard any of the local Meteo freqs 238.9 (LFI & WRI), 342.0 (DOV) for years. I guess they get their wx info via Satcom or computer link.

SAM093 98-0002 headed home from Germany, approaching US coast. Nothing on State Dept schedule for high ranking trip to Germany. Interesting four day trip.

~0940: Sounded like a radio check on 375., only thing i heard clearly was 'hotel uniform'. May have had a hit somewhere else on UHF for this guy but still trying to figure out how to get the BCT-15X to give back the last few scan hits.....
