Terry,

Are NJ F-16s still using their 140 MHz freqs? The DC ANG don't use them much at all.In last month or so I've only heard them use their 139-143 MHZ freqs once.

Ron - just confirming that today 14 April 2020 - Devils using 140.100 for Air/Air AM mode. They also called in the Status on 261.00 AM as well

Most likely a P8A aircraft
Yeah seems right out of homebase Jacksonville NAS.. Lots of those AE67** AE68** secret tail P-8A's these days.
Been a while since up into this area.. Seems with Virus they paused for a while doing basic training.
Logged AE6857 earlier today 1905z climbing up.. Assume another P-8A

That must be quite a night sight for maybe some offshore fisherman refueling at that low altitude.
I can imagine with boom light going probably looks like a UFO from a distance :)

I see one of the Andrews VC-25's 92-9000 got some mode s upgrade work.

Rich

I did see the ICOM stop on that frequency yesterday at times (in the morning) - but was busy with the day job so did not stop to identify. It was at the same time they were on 140.100 Air/Air

Nice look at the P-8A (even though this one was from Italy two days ago).

For last couple of days there's been a C-12 # 83-0496 (AE08ED) operating out of ADW. ADS-B showing callsign as C12TEST.
Yeah odd one Ron checking recent history this tail went offline mode s in Florida 1/18/2018
Then popped back up again Virginia area for a few days 10/14/2019 then out again till 4/10/2020 now showing C12TEST.
Must be really tinkering with this old tail.
