Funny looking bird. I usually see him or his twin N805X when they depart BWI. They usually come right over the house, especially if they go out to the PAX areas. That cone on his nose is currently housing an F-22 radar, I think.

Interesting flight headed NE towards DC right now nearing Harrisonburg VA, N639CS A85F6E, DOJ383, is a ConAir JPATS (federal prisoner transport) flight that is normally home in OKC this time of the evening

Just heard ANVIL01 on PCT 120.45, must be RC-26 92-0373.
Got a view of both DECOY99 and SKULL62 as they headed west.
Some odd ATC freq usage tonight. 120.45 > 125.65
DECOY99 was on 128.525 all the way to Martinsburg.
ANVIL01 says they have a flight plan with their first location being over Lafayette Square. Going to climb back up to 6000ft.
Let's play find their air to ground freq.

I notice that the Balto PD surveillance acft N73266 is flying over the city tonight. He's lower than his usual altitude.
2027- "7" up with Base on 136.375. Omaha 7????? advises Base he has fuel for 2 hours on station.
2040- Two Baltimore PD helos over the city Foxtrot 1 (N451F) & Foxtrot 3 (N453F). Operating out of Martin State Airport.

92-0373 circling over DC at about 6000 ft or so. Coming up as a RC-26B outfitted with electronic surveillance equipment assigned to the 130th out of WV ANG.

A plane that looks like this one is parked at the Signature ramp at DCA right now along with another white 737. A bunch of charter buses parked beside. Hmm, wonder who got a plane ride to DC?
Or who are they quickly removing from DC to make room in the jails? The other one you see is N279AD, guess it came in earlier using callsign DOJ336.

DCA Tower says they have Omaha 7 at 5600 over DC. Don't see it on ADS-B.
Probably their ADS-B not turned on. FAA ruled that the military can for law enforcement, national defense/home land security, and surveillance..

It's not just ADS-B turned off (they never have it on to begin with), mode-S isn't being used at all. They're most likely using mode C. It's possible they can pop up as a TIS-B returns sometimes like the MUSSELL and other mil flights.

That is interesting. Seems to be some traffic coming home from deployment so it may be support!
Kinda interesting on what they can do or choose not to do. I've seen rare times where a A-10 will pop up on ADS-B and F-16s pop up in Germany consistently but it seems state side its more rare.
Has anyone picked up the 121FS flying this week?
