I would expect McGuire & Dover C-17s will play in this.
Rgr that Ron nice catch.. This weekend looks very quiet as space A flights from bases around here
show no flights for next 3 days.. Guess Camp CAP may be only thing going on the next 3-4 days :)

DUSTER 1 made it home to Holloman today.. DUSTER 2 still showed Louisville but may have piggybacked
on DUSTER 1 mode s. Fast jets with about only 1 hour fuel high speed flying time for the hops. That was drawback of T-38's.
low fuel range but a great excellent futuristic fast jet trainer from the early 60's.
When I saw them they had no under carriage EX fuel tanks so guess why the short 1 hour 600 mph hops.
Maybe they don't even have ER fuel tanks for them

The callsign "RIDER" is only listed for 3rd AS/436th AW C-17s from Dover AFB and 27th/94th FS F-22s from Langley AFB

Maybe of future use/interest:
In addition to those uses above the US P8s currently operating out of Scotland regularly use RIDER as a callsign root when transitting between bases (rather than when on 'operational' flights). ICAO codes for these are not fixed (the ones in UK markings have, so far, used fixed addresses)

The VIPER airspace goes active at 0900 this morning with the exception of Lightning 3 and 4 ATCAAs which go active at 0930.

09:04 - BTV F-35s firing up. BIG 31 (X4) and 09:15 - WEASEL 11 (X?), KNIGHT 21 (X?).

09:25 - BIG 31 takeoff runway 33, 09:32 - cleared into VIPER push CH13. WEASEL and KNIGHT 5 minutes behind them.

1030- Couple of MD ANG A10Cs working discrete (271.4) then check in w/Bay Watch (30-5.2) for work in the PAX areas.

1053- CAP is starting up. Heard tanker check in w/Guard Dog (135.525) saying he'd be there for the next four hours. I missed his callsign but ADS-B is showing KC-135 # 59-1468 AE0386 getting into CAP position.

Thanks Justin. Yes I was able to hear the tanker in route. (It's on my audio in the link in the post above this one) Confused me at first but yes I looked at the TFR VIP list and there it is. Lots of action this weekend!
