ACCOMPANY active on USAF GCS. Probably E-6B 164387 BING27 heading back south now.

Yesterday while crossing the American Legion bridge I watched one of the MUSSELL helicopters do a handbrake turn like this but to the left
right over top the bridge to head back down the river.

Tis-b hit on something outta PAX River headed north up the coast.

Also seen on FR24.

anyone know what this is?
Speed and altitude suggests one of those new Navy CMV-22B test types.
Saw a regular pair of MV-22's inbound KILG today. They really like to boogie along about 1k-2k in altitude.
Sure make regular choppers seem slow :). Sound is odd like choppers but extra jet turbine thrust sound from the engines.
I can tell now just by hearing them when they fly over. Think i heard him on 305.200 just now.. so low on rtb.

That's mode-S. TIS-B have ~ preceding a code.

Sounds like it might be GREYHAWK13 which says they'll be proceeding to NAS Chambers.

Upon further review of KACY comms I don't think AE592D was GREYHAWK13. GREYHAW13 was doing actual approaches and probably without mode-S. But I never did hear any comms from someone going up and down the coast. ?? Did faintly hear AE592D say they were landing Rwy14 at Pax. Too weak and spotty for a callsign.

Overnight RC-135 64-14843 HOOVER-43 inbound Mildenhall now 0420 here.
This has some Euro guys speculating on all kinds of reasons for stopping there.
Could just be routine mission.See where it goes later this week.

JetBlue1770 from Guayaquil to JFK has been calling JFK operations on UHF, I have a dedicated scanner for UHF military only. They called three times but I guess no success. Unfortunately I missed the frequency as I was in the other room. Interesting !
