Ron and all fast forward to 7:00 minute mark.. Look like Marine/Navy F-35 types? Rear Admiral Ed Feightner from WW2. 100 years old? wow!
They do missing man formation.Seems they got all the graffiti off Andrew Jackson statue :)
Fighter jets in the sky and Biden and Harris motorcades all over the place. Just a Thursday in D.C. - YouTube

Thanks for that video. Sure looks like F-35s. Maybe they were from PAX? Don't think Langley or Oceana have F-35s.

Look at time 6:59 in the video. In the motorcade there a trailing vehicle with all sorts of interesting "stuff" on the roof.

Late last night E-6B, SINEX22, AE040D, 162782 departed pax and flew down towards Georgia before turning around and heading up to Bangor. Anyone catch any comms from the mission crew (rather than flight crew)?

1945 Two KC-46A's coming up the Coast BACKY-41,42 I think are A/A 303.000
Talking about they are two minutes early and may do a 360..
1950 On ZDC Sea Isle 281.450 again talking about a left 360.
2016 BACKY-41 thanks ZDC 281.450 for your help..
Saw report that the BACKY's did do A/R with that BUFF near NC/Va before they got up our way.
Too bad the Buff turned around and went back..

VINYL36 (04-4132) looks like he may be on approach to EWR - just heard him on 128.55 (its good to have a working scanner again!)

Speaking of which... I've been doing some research and sure I can do a lot more - but does anyone have a list of some useful MilAir frequencies for Central NJ? TIA

Yesterday E-6B, ICOSA23, AE0412, 163920, Tinker to Patuxent
Same frame out over the sea East of Phily as ILIUM28 today. Earlier a 'standard' 30 character FDM was addressed to them via HFGCS before their departure.
Again, if anyone catches any comms from the mission crew I'd be interested (via PM or delayed if subject considered 'sensitive').

Yesterday I heard the rumble of the first flyover as the jets climbed out over the river above Georgetown. AlertDC said it would happen at 1148. They were early, I heard them between 1135-1140. Checking yesterday's interments I still can't figure out who else would've rated a flyover.

Feightner isn't even listed in the interments. ?? That DRAGO61 flight looks like Hornets to me.

I found a Reddit thread saying it was F-18s.

Travis

That makes sense. Their routing after the fly over was heading for Oceana.
