Mark and Dean, Thanks for your information on this flight. I didn't know about it until a friend emailed today to check my recordings. I did catch them from 0808-0836z on 343.100 Coronet boom freq. At first was GOLD 12 with the RETROs then GOLD 11 asked if they wanted to meet them up near Bangor where he was going to hold in a race track pattern. Upon meeting GOLD 11, GOLD 12 wished them well on the flight and broke off to go home. My friend caught the RETROs using an LN freq of 252.525 for A-A.

One of those ex French TB-30 Epsilons out of KILG seems headed down to Easton airport where they seem based.. I heard Experimental with KILG tower tbat git my attention .
N315WZ (A35B70) looks to be rtb KILG.

Was in my area around 13:00 local heading SW, it stumped me as to the type, I had to break down and research what a TB-30 is. ADS-B exchange has it as currently south of Louisville KY still heading SW.

also...I have HAMMERHEAD 11 flight of two HMH-366 CH-53s inbound to Brunswick (KBXM) now working Unicom on 122.725. No A-As heard here so far. Another captured tail number. 161257 is plotting for the flight. Here's three out of four tail numbers logged so far while they're up here:

161257 / AE4B2D
161259 / AE4B2F
161992 / AE4B4D

That's all for now...
2153z 122.800 HAMMERHEAD 11 flight of two off Brunswick, ME (KBXM) heading Northwest through Auburn (KLEW) airspace working Auburn Unicom. No A-A heard so far. I looked at my logs and now have the 4th and final tail number for the CH-53s that are up here.

161257 / AE4B2D
161259 / AE4B2F
161992 / AE4B4D
164791 / AE4BA7

Yeah remembered we talked about this French Mil trainer type back on July 8 on this thread.. They recently had a gathering of TB-30's
at Easton Airport less than two months ago.. Some remain mostly stock like N315WZ while many have replaced stock two blade prop with triple
and some nice paint jobs. N315WZ is in the vid as well.

Not really 'news' (but those sites aren't about 'news' or objective commentary are they) . The US has been poking the area regularly with RCs, the CL60s (with civilian markings) and GP missions. Seems they are hell bent on destabilising the region.
....sorry, I forgot USAF and their lapdogs from the UK flying in international airspace is 'peacekeeping' whereas anyone else doing it is 'threatening world peace'.

The V/W aircraft have been getting regular workouts in the Baltic and Black Sea areas from Mildenhall, Ramstein and Souda Bay. The ones at Al Udeid are probably more related to whichever bit of the middle east 'we' are currently reducing to rubble.

Yeah I always wondered how US would like Russian aircraft say operating out of Central America flying in International legal airspace snoop flights around Florida or Texas.. Course China I feel is different story as they have laid claim to large swaths of Pacific territory not legally theirs.
I think NATO has overstepped its original mission and keeps expanding into areas not relevant to our joint security.
Just my two cents.

Territory not legally theirs - now thats an interesting concept, How much has the US spent militarising Diego Garcia (beyond the bribe ....sorry, discount on Polaris.....paid to HMG) ? HMG evicted the original inhabitants so the 'joint' US/UK base could be built by the US in such a convenient location (almost zero hours downtime due to weather). A location within the African Nuclear Weapon Free Zone though UK/US ignore that treaty and don't accept the International Court of Justice ruling that the islands be given back to Mauritius. Wasn't that front page news?

The Chinese are far more of an unknown...yet there is still billions in trade with them

Don't we have an answer to this? Haven't the Russians been flying Bears along the coasts for a while?

An occasional flight to train their military and test others is an essential part of the military everywhere. Thats very different from the near daily sigint/comint flights conducted by the US (why pretend its NATO...its the US with token involvement from the UK...token because thats all we have nowadays but fits the narrative of it being an international force). They don't fit the agenda of hatred and misdirection being fed to us. Have you noticed how bad the Russian pilots are? According to US/UK 'news' they always seem to be flying dangerously....perhaps its time they stepped up the number ofhours of training (or we had a narrative geared towards peace instead of aggression).

Maybe my view becomes skewed because I monitor traffic going each way and know your big buckets of sunshine will melt my garden long before yours ;)
