BRIO68 complained to Manassas Ground about being video recorded while taxiing around. Kind of ironic given their mission.

Listening to the LiveATC archives from 1913Z, BRIO68 calls HEF GND and says:

"[presumably: there is somebody near the]...Leidos Hanger, videotaping our aircraft, will you guys get them to stop that?"

Ground responds: "We'll get in contact with operations, and get that stopped."

As somebody who frequently spots at HEF (not this time, however) this, especially the response from ground, infuriates me. Manassas is a public airport, owned by the City of Manassas. I, and anyone else, have the same right to film the aircraft as they do flying over me.

I think what you heard was wrong. AF1 took off from Mildenhall at about 5:54 pm EDT (we're on Daylight Saving Time).

Unlike the C-32Bs, the C-32As like 09-0016 do not have inflight refueling capability.

It looks like the ETHYLs refueled E-4B GRIM 99 over Nova Scotia tonight.

Not sure why BLUE-61 diverted to Pease as maybe some Hornets had to divert up North.
The 3 other BLUE tankers made it back McGuire.
I was out at time but only thing I had on tape was at 1350 local was MAZDA-21 level at 280 on ZDC UHF
prob coming down the Coast offshore.
