Also a little weird for me to hear what sounds like a JTAC on 226.900, I never am able to hear ground transmissions from Fort Drum.
Interesting. Propagation might be helping or they might be operating from a different location than normal. Are you able to hear the range ATIS on 363.200? I can hear that sometimes when propagation is good.

1400 - SKULL 21 having some radio issues. Appears to be transmitting FM on 226.900.

Negative on the ATIS, still hearing a ground controller on 226.300.
Here are my photos:

Hard to tell if there is ordinance on the inboard pylons or is that just the weapons pylons themselves.
Someday soon will be hypersonic missiles hanging off them.
Notice also a couple of Army UH-60's hanging close by F Drum area at low level near where Buffs run.
Just keeping spotting eyes on the range area? When you said the Range was open today it really was open :)

They had a lot of dry runs but maybe what they dropped was internally. I didn’t hear every transmission so I’m not sure. What I do know is that they had lots of problems that they had to try and troubleshoot while they were there.

It’s hit or miss sometimes, sometimes it’s active and we get nothing or like today we get DC ANG F-16s (I’m not sure how much they actually did on the range) and B-52s from Barkesdale.

Guys,

Found the following info in one of my files. Some of the info was confirmed in 2020; so might be worth plugging these in and see if anything pops up. Especially for you NJ guys near McGuire & those near Dover.

These are the ones reported for AMC Interplane freqs:

1015 - I’ve got what I’m pretty sure are bombers on 244.500, didn’t hear the callsign but there are three of them. A-A on 238.175.

Check that, likely the DC ANG F-16s as they used 238.175 yesterday.

One of the 174th ATKW recruiters posted this on her story, looks like a DC viper in the background, I wonder if they’re staying at Fort Drum for the week.

That confirms it!
