Yesterday I heard STLFD District 6 channel, automated dispatch, similar to Samantha. They were mirroring the call on the dispatch channel.. Looks like they are preparing to automate. I suppose that's why they added the main channels.

I heard that also. I think it was TG 10213. I have heard the city FD in the past, once or twice, test a computer voice on a training TG. But it's been a while.

I just heard it over my BCD436HP (I live somewhat close to the city border and can receive it well).

To say the least, the voice seems to “take its time” to say things but there seems to be no attention tone.

The Fire side is dispatching several calls this morning automated with a male voice. It is much clearer and seems to be extra loud. I think it is a good thing for the city. I did hear that Monday the 4th they were switching to automatic dispatch but I guess they are doing some already.

What channel are they using for communications now? The dispatch channel appears to be only for dispatching A few apparatus acknowledged the calls on the dispatch channel and fire alarm told them wrong channel.

I have been scanning the test talkgroup for a while. I was a little disappointed to hear that silly voice on the dispatch channel yesterday.

Yes. He says something like “TAC Command A” at the end.

OK. I've been hearing 10231 all week, but I'm not a normal monitorer of the fire department. What should we name this channel for now?

It’s STLFD MAIN, or close to that, on our radios. I can verify that later when I get to my computer.

For some reason, I am unable to pick up any traffic on TG 10231 (Fire Main). I receive TG 10205 (Dispatch) without any issues.

I'm running a Uniden BCD325P2 and a BDC996T, with TG 10231 and TG 20205 in the same group. Has anyone else experienced and resolved this?

Just recheck your programming and settings. Recently I somehow switched a setting that caused many channels to not come in. Once corrected all was good.

Thank you @scanman1958 : Well heck. I checked it several times but was still missing one frequency!

How has STLFD's recent affiliation with MOSWIN affected the trunk system sites I need to program?
Should I be scanning both site 001 (St. Louis City Simulcast) and site 005 (MOSWIN St. Louis City MSHP)? Everything I've been hearing has been on site 005 only.

I would stick with site 201. It is the main site for the city. Site 205 seems to be limited in its use and many of us really haven't figured it out. Not sure why you have trouble with site 201. Where are you in relation to the city?
