Watch the alerts and tune in to those as events happen.

If you want storm-related weather information, then the NHC Skywarn Nets feed is for you.

If you want local area feeds, the hard-hit areas (according to forecasts) will be New Jersey, Southern New York (including New York City and Long Island), Connecticut, Maryland (including Washington D.C.), Delaware, and parts of Pennsylvania and northeast Virginia. Just search the Live Audio map for feeds in those states.

Or just do what rdale says and look for feeds with active alerts.
I'm sure the providers will be up all night taking care of those. ;)

Unfortunately a very good indicator of the extent of power outages is the sheer number of feeds in NY/NJ/CT/DE/MD that have dropped offline in the past few hours. NJ especially is hurting - 179 of 221 feeds have gone offline there alone.

Yes, New Jersey is really bearing the brunt of the storm.

Highly doubtful given the potential for large listener number prizes to the providers. If I were running a feed there I'd make sure the thing had long term power and cellular data backup. Most people don't do feeds with their only radio either.
