Peter is quite a character. You can get pretty good deals in there on Uniden, but you have to be prepared to spend about three hours in there listening to him talk.

Before I retired I used to stop by on lunch hour once in a while (my Command was about three minutes away by car), but after 45 minutes I would have to scream at him PETER I HAVE TO GO GIVE ME THE DAMN RADIO.

Forgot to mention:
The first radio I bought from him was a Bearcat 210 (NOT XL) with the "rolling zeros".
It was 1976.
I think that was the "first" truly programmable scanner.
