Which makes one wonder about the choice of the name SDRuno vs the SDR1 website which is hosted by airspy.us. Intentional confusion?

The initial release of SDRuno two days ago had significant problems with frequencies under about 100-200 kHz. This morning the SDRPlay guys released software version 1.02 to correct those problems. It can be easily downloaded over the previous software: SDRplay - Windows

Also the SDRplay/SDRUno panadaptor can now display a 10 MHz swath of RF. Previously its limit was 8 MHz. I have it running in the background on the aero AM band right now picking up lots of planes with my ham HF antenna. Needs scanning ability which is said to be on their to-do list.

Ok Woodpecker. If a few Hz at 100 Mhz is 'off frequency', what do you consider 'on frequency'? Are you saying that your receivers (etc) are bang on the nose ie +/- 0.0000000 Hz? Even if you locked them to a rubidium source, there would still be a tiny error, so that's off frequency too.
As for the Uno software, it's been out for 24 hours and is bound to contain bugs, errors and peculiarities. SDR# did, so did HDSDR in its early days. The software for my Signal Hound analyser had some oddities in its early versions and it still does, but that doesn't stop it being useful while it is being further refined. Nothing is perfect, especially complex software on its first release.

Its 3500Hz (3.5kHz) off frequency at 450MHz, some channels are spaced 3.125 kHz apart, it is unacceptable IMHO, a 10 PPM crystal in a 2GHz receiver is a joke!

A $20 R820T2 dongle with TCXO has far better frequency and RF performance for anything above 30MHz.

SDRplay RSP accuracy

It's true that a better guaranteed frequency reference would have been preferable and with hindsight we should have gone for a lower ppm XTAL spec. Having said that, the temperature changes in the unit are lower than some of the smaller form factor alternatives, which means that once up and running, the RSP units remain pretty stable. We still have the cases where even +/-0.5ppm still isn't good enough, so allowing calibration adjustment is also essential and is something we strive to provide across more and more choices of SDR software.
