"Attention Sunshine Fire (F'ar Duh-partment, haha) Department personnel, have a trailer fire, will be up Route 413 in Bowman's Trailer Park, Trailer Number 7, near Baxter Metals"

"202 to KDC (I think thats what he called the dispatch center...), can you repage that call for Sunshine?" "10-4 202, unit on scene advises if you hurry you can probably save this'un. It's just'a'smokin right now."

Where in the land am I hearing from?! I can only find one Sunshine FD and its in New Mexico. This sounds like somewhere really rural and country-sounding. Their call signs are "202" etc. Engine 1 advised their dispatch center they needed a "K-Unit" to respond to the fire.

Frequency: 159.215 CTCSS: 103.5

I think this is Sunshine Fire Department from near Harlan, KY. Can someone confirm this?

Sunshine FD is actually in Baxter (Baxter Metals), and there is a rt 413 and if you go up it... there is a Bowman lane.

And having been to that area they make 2600 sound like professional broadcasters...

So yeah I bet it is Harlan.

Oh gosh, if they make 2600 sound professional, we're all in trouble!

The following has been said by the 2600 members, OVER THE RADIO, on the MAIN fire channel!!

"Maaaaartha, while you're up thar at Fergusons, get me a loaf'a bread and a gallon'uh milk."

"Maaaaartha, run up thar to Fergusons 'n get us some uh' that three day old baloney, that stuff's pretty good'n its cheeep too. Get us some'uh that ole stale bread too."

"Haywood, Ennnjunn 26'll be en route, FULLY INVOLVED" (can you say uh hoh?)

hahaha, welcome to Fines Creek, NC!
