Anyone interested in a thread on Super Bowl and related comms?

I'll start - I've been monitoring the LWIN site at the Superdome, and it was fairly quiet except for the occasional Acadian ambulance traffic. But as of today (Monday, 2/3) things are picking up.

BTW, the control channel listed in the RR database is incorrect. The current control channel is 769.66875 MHz, Site 01-049.

I did submit an update to the DB but it hasn't been processed yet.

It will change every evening depending on location of event/ events

they are using
Orleans Inop regional Channels
Statewide introp channels
Regional coordinate channels
Troop NOLA channels

While some will be patched it will all depend on events and locations

They have a plan all set in stone they just change it depending on the day, because everyday it is a diffrent event may have one event may have 6 events. i know they are using R1-Coord for state agencies patching with NP-8 DIST and for drone interception etc. interop channels were used for military and outside angencies by the superdome and NFL control with JTOC, Orleans were being used for patching with EMS angencies and FD agencies also Law angencies working around the superdome.

I'd bet a case of Beer, there is a 205 for each and every agency and they are all included in the IAP

What is an IAP ?
An "IAP" stands for "Incident Action Plan," which is a written document outlining the objectives, strategies, and tactics used to manage an incident during a specific operational period, typically used in emergency management situations by first responders to coordinate their response effectively; it details key information like incident goals, assigned responsibilities, resource allocation, and communication protocols.

What is a 205 ?
A "205" in an IAP (Incident Action Plan) refers to the "Incident Radio Communications Plan" (ICS 205), which is a form used to document all radio frequencies, talkgroup assignments, and contact information for personnel involved in an incident, essentially serving as the communication plan for responders on scene.
