They have a plan all set in stone they just change it depending on the day, because everyday it is a diffrent event may have one event may have 6 events. i know they are using R1-Coord for state agencies patching with NP-8 DIST and for drone interception etc. interop channels were used for military and outside angencies by the superdome and NFL control with JTOC, Orleans were being used for patching with EMS angencies and FD agencies also Law angencies working around the superdome.
yeah I get that
thanks
pretty simolar to what I've gathered.
Orleans 10 is fd and ems detail units, orleans 6 is lsp region nola (this doesn't appear to be patched with lsp troop B disp 2 as this is not active. Looks like they're just using orleans 6 for the nola units), lsp B coordinate tlk 1 is patched with nopd d8, and various fed sounding channels on state and local interop.
What is the JTOC?

I'd bet a case of Beer, there is a 205 for each and every agency and they are all included in the IAP

What is an IAP ?
An "IAP" stands for "Incident Action Plan," which is a written document outlining the objectives, strategies, and tactics used to manage an incident during a specific operational period, typically used in emergency management situations by first responders to coordinate their response effectively; it details key information like incident goals, assigned responsibilities, resource allocation, and communication protocols.

What is a 205 ?
A "205" in an IAP (Incident Action Plan) refers to the "Incident Radio Communications Plan" (ICS 205), which is a form used to document all radio frequencies, talkgroup assignments, and contact information for personnel involved in an incident, essentially serving as the communication plan for responders on scene.
yes, i'm sure
I'm used to scannimg chicago and boston etc where there is one event, one or two pd channels, and it's consistant. Turns out it's not just neworleans nightlife that's crazy, it's comms are just as much....

Not to get to far off topic
but Boston PD proper has 6+ channels for the Districts, those are generally NEVER Patched, and the same with Fire/EMS
the patches are to the Interop Channels and I can tell you the 205's for a Boston event are over 10 pages long and involve all the
normal daily interop channels - Nothing new, just ensuring the right channels get patched

205’s for a 3 hour parade are 4-5 pages too

yeahi'm sure there are patches in boston but there just seems a hole lot more channels and patches to work with gere.
Probably because we're working with a truncking sistem that's state wide.
Just feels like a bit of an obstical course trying to map

Yes an issue for Hobbyists, but well documented for those who are using the system(s)

BTW - Boston is not alone for those event's I mentioned it is well patched into both multiple P25 Phase I systems and an Analog TRS
hence the 10+ pages

We now return to monitoring the NSSE
