As of late I have been searching out which frequencies are in use by the various school bus companies in lower Fairfield and New Haven counties and so far these are the ones I have been able to confirm and submit to the DB:

Homeland Defense Network TGID 9967673 Branford School Buses
Durham School Services-Milford: frequency is as listed however they are now using DCS 627
Winkle Bus Company: 37.98 DCS 331, sounds to be simplex
Town of Orange School Buses: 464.975, CC4 TG 101, SL1 DMR. Note that Orange uses several different owner operators and contractors and they all use this town provided frequency
All Star Transportation Beacon Falls: 151.55, CC12, TG 9008, SL1 DMR
City of Shelton Student Transportation Services: 152.96, CC14, TG 9008, SL1 DMR. Note this frequency is not licensed to Shelton however I was able to confirm usage from LRRP data and voice traffic using DSDPlus

I have also logged 2 NXDN frequencies in use by WE Transport LLC who provide buses to Bridgeport, however I haven’t been able to determine what each frequency’s actual use is: 461.4875 RAN 10 and 461.6125 RAN 20. If anyone here can confirm what each is used for please let me know.

As for information I am looking for, I haven’t had any luck finding B&B Transportation, who provide buses to Orange, East Haven Public Schools and various private schools. They have no licenses listed with the FCC and any unknown TGs logged from the Homeland Defense Network that are school buses I have determined to belong to Specialty Transportation. If anyone knows where B&B is or what frequencies they use let me know.

If anyone else wants to help by adding others feel free. Not sure why I picked tracking down school bus frequencies as my side hobby in scanning, it just sort of happened when I was out of work with covid back in March and wanted to track down my town’s local First Student branch and it kinda just went from there

Y’all can add Durham School Services-Stratford to the list: 153.0425, CC14, TG 11111, SL 1 DMR. Just submitted to the DB. Also submitted the WE Transport frequencies as after recording them all day I can’t determine a specific usage other than that they are school bus operations for the city of Bridgeport.

I also got a hit on Winkle Bus Co’s other licensed frequency of 37.90 however I didn’t catch the tone. I’ll try again tomorrow for that on my way to work and I’ll submit it as soon as I have that info. I will also be keeping an ear on Durham’s Milford frequency as I wouldn’t be surprised if at some point in the near future they switch to DMR…especially seeing as how their operations in the next town over are digital it would make sense for them to upgrade. Just speculation of course, only time will tell

They used to be simplex but not too long ago they added a repeater. It gets annoying listening to them because they always double on each other lol. DMR would be perfect for them to prevent this by setting the transmit priority to channel free only. But seeing the just "upgraded" already, you would think that would have been their chance to go to DMR.

That is the Guilford DPW, Park & Rec, and Senior Bus repeater not Specialty Bus.
Yes that is the case now. Haven't monitored the freq. in a while. It used to be Specialty Bus before they moved t6o the Homeland system. Thanks for the update.
Incidentally, I also hear EMS calls patched to that freq.
