SYNC LOSS issue

Hello all,

I've been running a dual RTLSDR V3 and V4 setup with SDRtrunk to monitor my local P25P1 network using the correct lengths on the dipole antennas it came with with great success for the last couple of months. Recently, without any changes in hardware or antenna/cabling config/location I've started to receive quite a bit of SYNC LOSS messages and no voice is coming through. The control Freq I have the dongle set to is still coming through strong.

I'm hesitant to make any changes without seeking advice since I'm pretty new to SDR and setting this up was pretty painful to begin with. I've looked through here and elsewhere on the web with nothing that has helped and was wondering if anyone might have some insight. TIA.

Check the PPM on each of your tuners ... in the second screenshot you can see that the signal does not completely align with the channel overlay.

This appears to have fixed the issue! I had originally set it to a value of -3.9 by the direction of a tutorial I found. Setting them both to 0.0 and clicking auto adjust seems to have fixed the issue! thank you for the assist!

RF conditions do change day by day, and even at relatively short distances, lifted conditions can exacerbate simulcast fading and open the door for interference from distance stations that don't normally even register above the noise floor.

Having the same issue which has something to do with the drift.

Same control channel, same day, just different RF conditions...
