Taking down my Calls Feeds for Viper network

Just FYI for everyone,

I'm taking down my Calls Feeds for the Viper towers in Rockingham, Caswell and Alamance Counties. Many talkgroups have went encrypted and also the resources needed for maintaining multiple tower feeds in overwhelming with them constantly needed rebooting or needed to purchases new SDRs because they stop working every 6 months or so.

I'm going to attempt to have the UHF Fire dispatch channels for Rockingham, Caswell and Guilford Counties on the Calls platform. If this continues to cause issues, I may just abandon the entire project.

My apologies to anyone that have been enjoying the feeds. Maybe someone else is willing to step up and provide the feeds for the area until everything goes encrypted.

Thank you for the feeds and frustrations you put up with for so long. I experienced the same thing a while back with my Wake Co/Raleigh feed, which I finally abandoned, so I totally understand.

Thank you for providing it. I know as a feed provider myself the frustrations of things needing reboots and so on. I'll also just scream into the void again even though it won't help: Public safety should not be encrypted, with the exception of things like swat teams.

Public safety should be public. I have friends and relatives involved in public safety and I also have personal experience in a situation where my scanners were crucial to the safety of my family and me. We are losing something very important. This is way beyond "it's a hobby" and anyone who excuses the move to encryption by saying that either has an agenda or is an idiot.
