Hello,
There is no PL (that we can decode) for APCO25 channels.

The info slips my mind at the moment but there is a PL like setting for APCO25 signals which the system programmers can make use of.

Hello,

There has been good skip on TALK 1/TALK 2. I have heard Fairfax, Co. VA MOT Control Channel on TALK 2. TALK 1 has APCO CAI traffic on it but I can't determine where it is coming from. Also picking up NJSP Troop C Central Traffic on TALK 1.

I believe Dave was refering to Network Access Code.

Thanks for the replies.....I was curious, because several individuals on the Eastern Shore of MD have also reported copying a great deal of Balt City's comms on TALK-1 (the freq is part of their trunked list). Typically (if not for the atmospheric conditions), these Balt signals wouldn't be an issue in Eastern Kent/QA Counties or in DE.

Hello,

The City of Baltimore comes in so strong on TALK 1 it was necessary to program the system in my 796. The Yagi is pointed West. The system comes in 5X5. Question: Is there any quiet time on this system?

Tropo conditions are crazy. There is an EDACS Control Channel on one of the frequencies for Baltimore. Also, the PRO 2096 can Trunk Fairfax Co, VA MOT System, with TALK 2 as the Control Channel. I think I need another Yagi just to keep up with all the signals coming my way. :) Enjoy the skip while you can!
