It would be nice if any talkgroup changes would show up in the New/Updated section. As it is now (for my area) any name change, move, encryption setting or delete does not show. You have to hunt down what was changed. Just a wish list thing.
I'd rather see it in the database when I am looking at it. Thanks for the suggestion.Use ProScan to make updates along with RR premium subscription and the “detect changes” feature in ProScan.
Not real handy on the Unications but ya, works on the couple of the scanners I still use.Use ProScan to make updates along with RR premium subscription and the “detect changes” feature in ProScan.
This only tells me the group. I still have to hunt down what was actually deleted or updated. Which talkgroup, unless I am still missing something. I get the whole green and yellow thing for new/added talkgroups. You can also check the change history on any RRDB page for the last 100 changes:

As a premium member, you can periodically download the csv data files for sites/frequencies and talkgroups. Then use a utility such as tkdiff to compare 2 versions of the files to identify updates.. Maybe someone could point me to a better suggestion in finding what I'm looking for,

I know - it's not ideal. But, at least it is a method that can let you identify changes made to the database. Thanks for your suggestion.
What you're asking for would require major changes to the back end of the database, which are simply not feasible.I would like to know what was changed, yes.
I never said I don't appreciate those who manage the database. Allegedly the site is always looking for suggestions on improvement. Here's one.
Again, highlighted changes don't show who's name changed or updated, what talkgroups were deleted, which talkgroup had encryption settings changed.
It doesn't take much time to figure out what talkgroups were deleted in a database of thousands? Yeah ok.
I'm not interested in buying proscan. I already have what I need for programming purposes and since I'm already looking at the database, it would be nice to just see the change there.
This started as just a wish/suggestion thing. Maybe someone could point me to a better suggestion in finding what I'm looking for, but not really. If it's one day changed, wonderful. If not, it's not a huge deal.
Appreciate your insight. Not the end of the world. It was a suggestion and to see if I was missing something. Some comments were helpful, some suggestions I already knew about, some comments were, yeah. Thanks! What you're asking for would require major changes to the back end of the database, which are simply not feasible.
When a system shows green in the database due to changes, it doesn't necessarily mean that talkgroups or frequencies have been changed. Minor changes to descriptions and so on will also cause a green light.
If a county or system you watch goes green, you can go to that county or system, and look at the change summary. It's located in the menu, upper right corner of the screen.
