Any info on TDMA CONTROL CHANNEL firmware update? Or do we wait another 5 years!

I would think that is in the works but don't expect it soon.
My guess is Uniden is working with the big M to get the details so to make it works best in the scanners like they did with DMR.

I highly doubt Uniden is working with MSI on anything…but I could be wrong.

Considering that ASTRO 25 systems are not yet capable of TDMA control channels, that would be incredibly unlikely.

Last time I looked on dsd for this system is enc was popping up. Not sure if the system will be full encrypted or certain tgs be open?

Next time you look, see if all tg's show ENC.

I know about 6 months ago I seen 2 tgs showed enc. where I’m at I can’t get good signal unless bands are open up.

Duke's system is 100% AES encrypted on Harris P25 Phase II WITH TDMA control channels. Currently, not going to listen to it with anything other than a legit, correctly optioned and programmed Harris radio with the correct legit encryption key.

Duke Energy P25 System

Noticed Duke energy carrying 900mhz APX 4000s yesterday evening. Has anyone heard of updates coming or a possible system upgrade? Seems silly running APX portables on an analog only Smartzone system.
