At this point there should be a new list with the departments that are NOT encrypted haha

Tolleson appears ENC. . Changed dispatch to new TG.
Using old Disp as secondary.

Only hear ENC on old dispatch. Not much traffic on old Disp.

It does appear that they've gone to P25 Phase II, and enabled encryption.

In addition to their 4899 Dispatch TG, I believe that they have used TG 4898 in the clear in the past. I only heard it a few times, for what sounded like traffic control IIRC, probably a year or two ago. I was never able to confirm it, however. And if 4899 is now encrypted, I would expect 4898 to be as well.

I don't believe that I've ever caught anything on TG 4897

Tolleson PD also dispatches for El Mirage PD, which has been encrypted for awhile now, as well as the Tohono O'odham PD at the casinos in Glendale and Surprise.

I believe that I've caught TG 4895 used as a secondary channel by Tohono O'odham PD. This was also at least a year or two ago. 4896 of course is their Dispatch TG.

Tempe FD is on RWC and their K Deck [700-800 MHz] channels 4 and 5 are both encrypted. They also have access to the Tempe E deck 1 through 5, which could be encrypted, but usually aren't. A deck [VHF] is not encrypted.

Tempe Fire will be heard in the clear, usually on A7 for fire and hazmat calls, and on K7 for most EMS calls. Major EMS calls and mountain rescues would be on K10, K11, or K12.

They also have their own E2-E5 talkgroups. E2 and E3 will be in the clear for special events, training, etc., and E4 and E5 will be encrypted. Other D-, E-, and F-decks will be fully encrypted, for investigators, paramedic-to-hospital, admin, etc.
