Scroll down and click All Trunked Radio Systems in Walker County scroll down Tennessee Valley Regional Telecommunications System and click the p25, Scroll down to System Talkgroups, then click the right arrow head by Interoperability & Mutual Aid Talkgroups to view coverage area map.
Now tell me is it possible for me to pick this repeater up in Rome Georgia?
Thanks
Ron

While the talkgroup shows a large radius of intended coverage, it all depends on the site's actual physical radius of intended coverage. All the sites and talkgroups I looked at had a default location and radius which probably does not reflect their actual coverage areas. I'm sure that as new information is fed into the RR database a clearer view of the system will emerge.

I would not expect actual site coverage to extend more than 20-30 miles from each physical site's transmitter. There will, of course, be some overlap to coverage but I think the present unrealistic geotag entries of N 35.862344, W -84.935303, 131.959357302656 Miles is just a "placeholder" and will not provide accurate and useful information other than to generally locate the intended coverage area of the whole system.

RomeRon, it shows a radius of ~131 miles. Knowing the terrain up that way, unlikely unless the TGID's are affiliated with the Walker county tower/towers. 700-800MHz propagation is not always good. Maybe, just maybe, on the top of one of the mountains, with a directional beam, you might get a signal:) Probably best asked in the GA forum further down the the forums page.
HTH,
Larry
