Unfortunately I have some very sad news to report.........
Our friend "Herm" from here in Wheeling was killed in an auto accident last week on WV Route 2 between Glen Dale and McMechen...... He was travelling north and ran into a rock slide causing his vehicle to swerve into the southbound lane hitting an oncoming vehicle head on..... He died at the scene
As a result of this accident, the State of WV has finally closed this dangerous stretch of highway until the hillside is fixed..... Now what really pisses me off is that this spot has been the site of countless rockslides over time....... This rockslide issue has needed addressed for years and it's terrible that it takes something like this for this state to take action..... and worse yet they only intend to fix it half-assed just like they do every other project in the state.....
The WV DOH needs to take a look at how the state of Ohio does things- THE RIGHT WAY :evil: .....
