Hi i try for days but not get it install into PI3 with RSPStrech desktop but getting some warnings while install telive.
Share your info to get install in Pi3 ?

I see you are using RSPStretch. For now, the creator of Telive provides support on several versions of Linux, especially RSPJessie. To install Telive, you must first install RSPJessie on the RPI3.

What use 16 or 32 Gb SDcard?
Did you do upgrade after install or just start the image and install telive?
Is there tutorial for install telive in PI3 ?

I would like to inform you all that SDRplay Ltd. has donated a RSP1A. This will ensure that this device will be supported by future telive versions.

I hope to have a working version within the next few weeks. The main feature will be RSP1A support, but it will also include various bits which i've accumulated over the last few months.

It's up to you. If you are windows type of user - yes, it is game changer. It's very easy to setup and use. But if you are familiar with linux and you are do-it-yourself type of guy, maybe you will prefer to use linux and continue to modify things in your own way

I've tried it and yes it is very easy and seems to work well. For some people it could be really useful. I for example don't have a computer with linux permanently installed on so to run stuff on linux I have to use a virtual machine, but for high CPU demands this doesn't seem to work too well. Also for people who use SDR sharp routinely for decoding different stuff for example with DSD, it allows you to quickly switch to decoding TETRA if you come across a TETRA signal.

It's not so good for trunking unless it's only on a single carrier, because this plugin only decodes one TETRA base station at a time.

I have no experience with Linux or how much time and effort it takes to get something useful up and running (Not to mention; how much time and effort it takes for a newbie to LEARN how to use it)

I might give this windows plugin a try then, although I'm pretty sure all things tetra is garbled beyond useful listening here anyway.

Just click the "Demodulator" tickbox after adding "magic line" and she will work...

did someone managed to use it on 32bit windows? on mine ticking demodulator it cut the sound and even if i set the correct freq nothing happen

It is meant to cut the sound. But audio comes thru as someone is speaking...

And no, I use 64bit these days (get with the times!)

Tetra Live receiver does not allow to tune

I installed in a virtual machine Ubuntu 14 and the software necessary to receive and decode Tetra communications.
All worked but when I launch the "1ch simple demo receiver" WITH the RTL dongle attached the window get grey (as from attached image) and I can't enter any data in the Frequency field.
If I launch the same receiver WITHOUT the dongle attached, the window stay white and I can enter any frequency in the frequency field.
Anyone can point me where I fail and help me to have my decoder working?
I am aware that running it in a virtual machine is not recommended, but this is just for testing. When I'll be able to run it I'll made it running on real hardware.

Hi. Grey windows in Ubuntu typically mean the application is frozen or hung due to some issue. This could be a problem with the program communicating with your dongle, or just performance. Have you used another RTL program to check your dongle is working ok in your virtual environment, or waited a little to see if it eventually unbloks?

If it's a performance problem, you could try to give more system resources (memory and cpu power) to your VM. Also note that you could set the desired frequency in your "1ch simple demo receiver" flow graph, so that it is tuned to it when you launch it.

The dongle work with gqrx, and I tried two dongle without success.
I'll try to assign more resources and I'll report my finding.

multiple RTL dongles?

Is there a benefit and a way of using more than one RTL dongle and then being able to specify a specific dongle per instance of GNU\Rxx?

System with 2 downlink freqs (4 other frequencies) , two different LA's, mutiple CCs.

I changed the memory allocated to the emulator with no success.
Instead, I setted a local tetra frequency in "1ch simple demo receiver" and gain and ppm, and I was able to see (not hear...) some traffic and to identify the control and the download channel. But after a little time (1 minute or so on) I lost the signal.
Thank you again!
Now I try to pinpoint the problems and hope to hear the traffic.

Follow up:
I as able to ear some traffic and identify three network in my area (1 Swiss and 2 Italian).
Now is time to switch to a dedicated computer running Ubuntu native, perhaps headless.

Aim using win telive with MYSIS and I did all the steps in Read me file ,but I have a problem that is . When I start the gui in gnuradio hit play icon there is window appear it should show the scanner activity .in my case no activity in the widow which it suppose to show activity . So afraid to Re- install SD# and winDriver but no change happend any solution please
