Oke, i did not missing CW nor SSB because i dont use these.
Buy DV1 for the digital modes to replace DSD+ and the PC :)

Dear friend
the substance at the time seems to be this
I observe that if they wanted to remove this cluster DMO to make room for a TMO perhaps it would be better
Otherwise you have to take what comes
From a strictly "ethical" view is flawless hii

AOR USA will only deal with North American customers..
So W&S are your only AOR contact in the UK..

I get the feeling there is something deeper going on here ?

I saw a webpage yesterday on AOR USA saying you could send a memory card to them and they could update the card for me the only thing is iv'e forgotten the web page does anyone else know it?
Or any other way I could get updated card

Just so that you are aware radioshane, if you have a pc and one of the free programs that are available for formatting SD cards, then you can basically do anything with that is required with the SD card right at your own place. There is no special magic that AOR would be able to do if you sent your card back to them.

Once your card is formatted, you can use the card to update or roll-back firmware, simply by following the instructions provided by AOR with the notes included in their firmware releases. You can also use the card to record or playback traffic.

For more sophisticated record and playback capabilities, I use eSPYonARD, a third-party software program.

Hello,

I see DMO support as part of a gradual rollout. DMO was likely the quickest and easiest TETRA mode to support. It is likely the base on which TMO is built, so the next step is to add TMO.

D-CR is Digital Convenience Radio, a Japanese digital mode. The specification mostly follows the NXDN specifications.

Am running AR-DV1 Receiver Firmware Version 1609D and am listening to D-STAR voice traffic from the D-STAR repeater GB7AU with no problems at all. So I would suggest you re-check your findings.. perhaps the D-STAR transmitter you are monitoring has a problem..

As reported by others, I am also running the radio with Firmware v.1609-D and not having any problems receiving D-Star.

What I might suggest is that if you are attempting to monitor known D-Star transmissions and you are in "AUTO" mode with the DV1, you try switching to the dedicated "DSTR" mode and see if that makes any difference. You might be in a fringe reception area, causing the radio to fail to properly detect and switch to D-Star mode.

Thanks deiraq I went onto the contact bit of the USA website and pressed on the contact bit then pressed onto email them but it woudn't let me could it be because I am using a library computer?

Radioshane, sorry I did not realise you were relying on public computers I will send my address by PM, if you send me a 4gb SD card with a self addressed return jiffy envelope with return postage stamp, I will copy the latest firmware on to it and post it back to you..

gutted
If I had the update I would be looking lots I used to love listening to the fire brigade
Would you advise keeping search of the 457 band all the time?
I really found it buzzing when I heard all fire men last December for the floods it was strange they don't use call signs on it they just use there real names

I think most of the UK Fire Service communications would be Airwave TETRA (TMO), analogue Fireground handies and DMR Fireground handies on 457MHz..
