Texas City Fireground Channels

Does anyone know if Texas City changed their fireground channels? They just ran a fire and I didn't hear anything apart from the initial dispatch and units responding.

I have d7f, d81, and d83 programmed into my 5k (Texas Wide Area Radio Network (TxWARN) TG Category: Galveston County - Texas City)

Could be, they recently switched to APX radios but would it make sense for them to have FDMA main dispatch and TDMA tac channels?

I’ll probably end up buying another phase II scanner eventually anyways but just curious.

What happens a lot is the TG is DDM (Dual Dynamic Mode) and lots of external agencies with FDMA radios will be affiliated to the main channel and keep it FDMA, but the Tacs are that agency only so they are TDMA. But that's just a possibility.

I still hear them mostly normal. Sometimes after the original fire tone, the audio level goes so low, I have to turn up the volume to hear the voice. The computer I use VOX, sometimes can't hear anything and I miss the call. Next time a fire or ems tones out, I will see if it's still FDMA.

last ems call was FDMA, I will see what happens when there is a major fire incident to see when the go to firecom.

A few times this morning I could hear them on Fireground 1, talking on a TDMA channel. I didn't click fast enough to screenshot which one.

EMS/Fire dispatch is on FDMA. Whenever they use fireground, its on TDMA.

I keep checking the last two days. Seems they are just using the main channel and fireground 1. Haven't heard anything on a fireground 2

Not mine, they are all 24 hour clocks.
