Anyone else hear "Command Post" operations on TG 46256 on the State of Oklahoma DPS TRS?

They were all over the OKC site this morning although from the locations they were giving, I am certain they were in Cleveland County.

The Talkgroup is listed in the database as "Metro H", but I am fairly certain I was hearing Corrections Department units down around the Lexington Assesment and Reception Center. Apparently they were practicing for when someone escapes.

Fast2,
I heard that as well here in Tulsa. I have also heard whoever it was talk on that TG real casual in the past and could never figure out who it was.

Metro G & Metro H

Several times Metro G and Metro H has been used in the Tulsa area. I have heard 5 mobiles at various locations. One day, the users
were on I-44 out joyriding and chatting on G and H. They would talk on G for a few minutes and switch over to H. One of users stopped in Tulsa for fuel.

Those talkgroups can be active at times.

Clipper,
What were they talking about? I can sometimes figure out who it is I'm listening to based on where they are located and what they talk about. If it was casual chat about a football game then it could be anyone (lol).

They may have been doing just that joy riding. With the state system you can talk on the okc tak groups in Tulsa and vice versa. Often out of the
area officers will switch to some barely used freq to chat on. The only problem is it is repeated so every one in the state can hear and of course it lights up on their dispatches counsole letting them know that it is active.
Far better to chi chat on a talkaround or itac channel.

OKC 45256 in Cleveland County again

It seems the Prison was back at it again on 45256 tonight on the OKC Tower of the State TRS with some sort of incident or maybe an exercise. They are meeting up with Slaughterville PD. The units were all labeled as "13 Adam" "37 Adam" etc. A command post was mentioned. I also heard the word "escapee" used. It sounds just exactly like what was described earlier in this thread.. probably an exercise to plan for in case of an escape. Odd time to be doing it at 3 in the morning though.

Sounds like DOC to me. They were asking for a Mutual Aid with OHP and another unit said he olny had 800. They were talking about a facility and institution. Also they were talking about Cleveland County and helping in this so called man hunt. Heard this all on the Tulsa and Okmulgee site as well.

Now I am hearing their location is in far western Pott county and they had OHP clear a house in Slaughterville. Anyone in that area or OKC have all the OHP low band programmed? They are using sides 1 and 2 and DOC is also probably on 45.1 as well? Anyone else monitoring?

Saw something on the news after I got home a little while ago about an escaped prisoner from Cleveland County, probably what you heard.

TG 46256

I actually got to go down to Pottawatomie County today where they were searching for the escapee. I must say that if the idea is to allow different agencies to communicate with each other on these incidents, it isn't working very well.

The corrections officers were on TG 46256 on the Lexington 800MHz site. The OHP troopers involved in the search were on 44.700MHz (Side One). The troopers on the road blocks were on AR-1 (TG 41776) on the 800MHz system. They were complaining no one was talking with them.

The Prison itself continued daily operatons on the 800MHz talkgroups (TG 45392 and TG 45424) without interruption. There was NO activity on the Corrections Low Band Frequency (45.100MHz).

The Highway Patrol sent one of it's Command Post buses to the area, but it got in a traffic accident near Purcell and never made it. It might have made interagency communication a little easier.

IT IS NOT A DRILL

Apparently this is for real, a prisoner has escaped from Lexington.
Today (12-28-04), I listened to the mentioned TG, as well as Cleveland County and OHP AR1.

Sounds like the man-hunt is somewhere in or around Slaughterville.

OHP kept getting reports of hitchikers matching the description.

At one point A Cleveland County Deputy teamed up with (3) DOC Officers

It should have been on the news, because News 5 was in the Norman Area.

Unfortunantly I got too busy, but at last monitor (6:35 p.m.), they were still looking.
