Preface
Because of the frequency stability of quartz crystal which has been widely used in radio remote control of the transmitter circuit. But in the radio remote control receiver circuit, people usually adopt the LC oscillation frequency selection. It is directly connected with the antenna selection frequency network. I read some books about the radio remote control, also found the frequency are selected by LC oscillation. I think this is the frequency characteristic of quartz crystal slice and the frequency characteristic of LC oscillation are different because of it. However, if the use of inductance too much, We debug the receiver with difficulty because the mutual inductance phenomenon. In general, if the hands without a digital frequency meter and the high frequency signal generator and other instruments only with a multimeter to receiver for debugging, Workload will be doubled! I think, one of the few that is engaged in radio remote control!
A Signal Receiving Circuit of Selecting Frequency to Use the Crystal Oscillation
By observing the frequency characteristic curve of quartz crystal, I think there should be a crystal oscillation frequency selection circuit. Based on this idea, the software I use Proteus.6.9.SP5 in my spare time to try different design circuit containing crystal, and carries on the simulation to it, I finally found that there is indeed a crystal oscillation frequency selection circuit.
I debug oscillation frequency from 1MHz to 100MHz in the crystal oscillation frequency selection circuit, and parameters of some electronic components I change the value in the circuit, so that the relay can be actuated reliably. I use Proteus.6.9.SP5 software to draw the crystal oscillator frequency selection circuit. Take the sine wave input signal amplitude to remains constant, and the method is only to change the frequency of the simulation, when the crystal oscillator frequency is changed from 1MHz to 100MHz, get all the parameters of electronic components in the crystal oscillation frequency selection circuit of that the relay can be actuated reliably.
Let me take the crystal 1MHz as an example. Through the Proteus.6.9.SP5 simulation, found the following phenomena: When we input a 1MHz sine wave signal, the circuit can make the relay action reliably; When we input a less than or equal to 0.994MHz sine wave signal, the circuit can not make relay action; When we input a greater than or equal to 1.003MHz sine wave signal, the circuit can not make relay action.
But, along with the increase of the frequency of the sine wave signal input, the high frequency characteristics of the circuit components are beginning to appear…(Here omit 50 words.)
According to the simulation results and the frequency characteristics curve of quartz crystal, if the crystal oscillation frequency selection circuit is used in the radio remote control receiver, suppose the receiver to receive the frequency f_0 of sine wave signal, then we must judge whether there is other sine wave signal of frequency f_0 or close to f_0 in the sky before the receiver receives it, and prevent other signal to make the relay in the receiver is attracted. Solution of this problem has the following two:
1. In the circuit is provided with a button or switch. Switched on or off the switch (or button) to change the part of the circuit so as to achieve the purpose of selection frequency.
2. Using Micro Control Unit(single chip microcomputer) control. Now the price Micro Control Unit is very cheap. For example, a STC89C52RC model Micro Control Unit in the retail price is only 6 yuan. In order to achieve our objective of selection frequency, we can carry on the intelligent control to use Micro Control Unit in the circuit.

Because of the excellent characteristic simulation of Proteus software, that is the basic demonstration of the accuracy in the designed circuits as long as the design of circuit can complete the simulation process in Proteus at the same time. If using the crystal oscillation frequency selection circuit I found, on the receiver is easy to debug because I only use the small number of inductance and the frequency stability of the crystal is high.
