TK-370G(N) Narrow Band Program Question

Hello,

I have a TK-370G(N) that I need to switch to narrow band. I have KPG56D V2.1 which will not allow me to make changes to the narrow band settings.

Looking for any suggestions.

Kenwood hand held portable radios that are NOT NarrowBand compliant: TK-200, TK-300,
TK-210, TK-310, TK-230, TK-330, TK-240, TK-240D, TK-340, TK-340D, TK-250, TK-350,
TK-260, TK-360, TK-270, TK-370

Read the radio and check model type. Does it think it's a G(N) or something else? A G(N) will certainly allow you to program as narrow.

Don't know if it's a software issue, I have V4.22.

Take a closer look at the model number on the ID sticker. If it is a 370 or 370(G), then it is a wide band only radio.

If it is a 370(G)(N) then it is already a nerrown band ONLY radio.

There are no software changes for either radio.

Also, neither radio will allow for splitter frequency's, (.xx25 05 .xx75)

I have worked on both models and I know first hand.
