Okay, I'm trying to get a file together for the Toronto area. Now I've only visited a few times, and don't know the area that well. Besides for the Toronto Public Safety TRS, and the Ontario Provincial TRS what other surrounding Jurisdictions do I program? Also what freqs/trunks would I have to program if I was coming up from the Niagra region? I really don't know the area and am kind of confused with all the info. Could someone get me started in the right direction. TIA.

YORK is north of Toronto
PEEL is west of Toronto
HALTON is west of PEEL (3 towers EDACS)

I think all you need is Peel and York. All frequencies and talkgroups are on this site.

If you are coming up from Niagara Falls then you need Halton Region (Burlington, Oakville, etc...). You could also use Hamilton TRS. You can't listen to Niagara because it is all digital AND encrypted. If you have a Pro 96 let me know and I'lls end you some files for the area.

I do have a 96. Files would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the geographical perspective. :) Now what police district covers I guess the Bathurst Street area (in Toronto). Can't really give you a much better araea. But that where I'll be.

http://www.torontopolice.on.ca/divisions/map.php

This link also has the patrol zones for each car, but those have since changed, but its a good guide none the less.

http://www.canadaboard.com/crime/bigmap.html

That will show you the divisioanl boundries. Well the old ones anyway.. They are pretty much the same, but a few divisions (51, 52, 53, and 32) have changed not alot though.

Bathurst runs all the way north of Steeles (which is the Toronto/York boundry)

I hope that helps.

I think that helps. It looks like I'll be in either the 13th or the 32nd. I know that I'm not to far away from the highway ramp that's on Bathurst. It's been at least 4 years since I've been there so I'm really stretching my brain.

Bathurst starts with 14 division in the south as far north as cpr tracks north of dupont st, then changes to 13 division as far as lawerence then it changes to 32 division

Thanks all for the help. If you could zip a file and then post it here that would be great. I was planning on making my own file, so if you can't post I'll still be fine. I just needed to know what systems I should put in.

Mo: I wont be home until late this evening and despite 2morrow being Canada Day I have 2 work.

I have a ssd file that I use with my BC software.

If you want it I can email it 2 u, I wouldnt know how to post it here. The file itself isnt all that big anyways.

If you are just asking which systems to monitor here:

Toronto EDACS EMS
Toronto Public Safety
OPP Zone 1

Punch in the CC's for the following towers:

Toronto, King City, Mississauga, Niagara Falls, Grimsby, Cedarwoods, Guelph or the software I have covers all of Zone 1 Southern Ontario.

scnnr, that is my file you posted. No problem though, they're on the site to be used. Don't use that one, use the ones I posted. The one you posted is older. I havn't updated the files on Scanont for a while. I'll have to do that later on. Thanks for the reminder. ENJOY!!

PLEASE ANYONE HELP ME WITH YORK REGIONAL POLICE FREQUENCIES!

Hi, All. I would sure be grateful if anyone could help me by either posting or emailing me the YORK REGIONAL POLICE FREQUENCIES as I have tried but cannot find them. I live in this area and would love to hear them on my BC895XLT TRUNK TRACKER Scanner. I tried dl'ding the PRO96 YORK frequencies file posted here but I guess I don't understand all the new stuff as I extracted contents but guess it's not useable by the BC Scanners? Signed: MISSING MY YRP BADLY! (-

Thanks in advance any kind souls!
